Welcome!

"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow"

Every horse.

Every horse, for every discipline, sport and purpose. Every breed, size, shape and colour, each Olympic medalist and stakes-winning racer, every high-point performer and children's champion, all those beloved pets and hardworking partners... every horse began as somebody's dream.

At Everton Farms Equine our vision is to nurture an entire garden of your dreams.  Whether you are a large-scale professional breeder, or a first time broodmare or foal owner, we offer a range of services and welcome your animals to our beautiful farm.

From conception to competition, our goal is to grow your dreams into the horsepower of tomorrow.

Everton Farms aspires to follow in the footsteps of its origin, Warrawee Farm.  After decades of running a highly respected and successful program breeding and raising racehorses, the owners of Warrawee retired leaving behind a custom, veterinarian-designed breeding facility on 100 acres. We share their philosophy that optimal health and welfare of broodmares, as well as ,development of young animals is achieved in a spacious, social, natural environment, and we are delighted to work with the diverse breeders of the Ontario equine industry and welcome horses of all kinds to the farm.

The management of Everton Equine is overseen by Sarah Roberts.  With over 25 years experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the horses under her care.  Sarah began her riding career in the sport of eventing, competing up to the FEI level, which granted her versatile skills across the disciplines as a rider and trainer. While studying Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Guelph, she earned her Equine Canada and NCCP Coaching certification, and went on to run a facility for riders competing in eventing.

During this time she became closely involved in managing a breeding program for warmblood sport horses, as well as gaining a reputation as a highly sought after trainer for starting and developing youngsters.  Multiple generations of horses were bred, born, raised and trained under her guidance, including Champion foals at breed shows, young broodmares earning Elite Mare Awards through Performance Testing, and stallions in training completing their requirements for licensing through multiple registries.  Sarah looks forward to sharing her proven programs with breeders of all kinds, and continuing to work alongside the exceptional community of veterinarians in the area.
